Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield's C&W Services division is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead and mentor service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and train others in best practices within a dynamic warehouse setting.
The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and strong troubleshooting of conveyor systems, PLCs, and CMMS workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE).
- 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
- 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
- 2+ years with CMMS.
- 2+ years with PLC programs.
- Vendor management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
- Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors; inspect control components.
- Monitoring: Create and close work orders with labor hours and parts used.
- Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
- Communication: Maintain positive relations across the Operations facility.
