Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects, while training and mentoring other technicians.

You will promote safety, troubleshoot conveyors and controls, and manage work orders to support the Operations Maintenance Team. Strong leadership and CMMS/PLC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and conveyors.
• 4+ years experience with preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints/schematics.
• 3+ years CMMS experience.
• 2+ years PLC programming.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems; install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
