Job summary

C&W Services is hiring a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor service technicians and contract staff.

You will train others, maintain conveyors, troubleshoot PLCs and sensors, and ensure safety across shifts. A strong background in mechanical/electrical maintenance and vendor coordination is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years experience in preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years experience with a CMMS.
• 2+ years experience with PLC programs.
• Experience in a team lead capacity.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems; install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, etc.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facilities.
