Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Lead Mechanical Superintendent to lead field execution for simple and combined cycle power projects across multiple sites, including Claude, TX. You will direct craft, foremen, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure safe, on-schedule mechanical installation of turbines, HRSGs, piping and rotating equipment.

You will monitor progress against schedules, manage turnover readiness, support safety programs, and coordinate with civil, electrical, I&C, startup teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years experience in a Superintendent or CM role on power/industrial projects.
• OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training.
• Ability to lead diverse craft and subcontractor teams with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical field execution for combined/single-cycle projects, directing craft, foremen and subcontractors.
• Coordinate installation of gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, piping and rotating equipment.
• Monitor CPM schedule progress, turnover readiness and cost performance; drive safety and quality initiatives.
