Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Lead Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution for combined cycle and simple cycle power projects. You will mentor craft leaders, foremen, and subcontractors, coordinating with engineering, startup, and commissioning teams to ensure on‑time, safe electrical installations.

The role emphasizes safety, cost control, productivity and adherence to project requirements across major electrical scopes and systems.

Qualifications

8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
Valid Driver's License and ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements.
OSHA 10 certification and strong leadership in electrical field execution.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical field execution for combined cycle/simple cycle projects, ensuring safe, high‑quality installation.
Support the Construction Manager in safety, quality, ethics and performance programs.
Coordinate power distribution, grounding, raceway, cable tray, termination, lighting and electrical equipment systems.
Monitor progress against CPM schedules, milestones, and turnover priorities.
Resolve drawing, schedule, quality, quantity, cost, and safety issues with cross‑functional teams.
Develop and monitor look‑ahead schedules and ensure adequate resources and access for work packages.
