Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Lead Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical field execution on combined cycle and simple cycle power generation projects. You will lead direct-hire craft, subcontractors, foremen, field engineers and discipline supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installation and commissioning readiness.

With 8+ years of leadership experience in power/industrial settings, you will drive productivity, safety, quality, and cost control while

Qualifications

8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on power/industrial projects.
OSHA 10 certification.
Strong leadership and communication skills for field teams.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical field execution for combined cycle and simple cycle projects, ensuring safe, high‑quality installation of electrical systems.
Coordinate with Construction Manager to maintain BV safety, quality and performance programs.
Lead craft, foremen, subcontractors, field engineers and discipline supervision to meet schedules and budgets.
Monitor progress against CPM schedules, milestones, turnover priorities and commodity targets.
Develop/monitor look‑ahead schedules and ensure drawings, materials, labor, tools and permits support planned work.
Support safety, quality, and commissioning readiness across the project site.
