Join Black & Veatch as a Civil Superintendent supporting high-impact simple cycle and combined cycle power generation construction projects. You will lead field execution for civil construction activities, partner closely with craft supervision and field engineering, and help deliver safe, high-quality work that keeps critical energy infrastructure projects on schedule.

This is a pipeline posting for 2027 projects with locations varying across Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Georgia, and more.

Qualifications

5+ years experience of construction field leadership on equivalent projects.
Valid Driver's License.
OSHA 10 certification.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, work packages, and schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead civil construction execution on simple cycle and combined cycle power projects, including site development, earthwork, concrete, foundations, undergrounds.
Monitor field activities against CPM schedule and report progress on milestones and productivity.
Coordinate with craft supervisors, field engineering, safety, and project controls to remove roadblocks and keep work moving safely.
Review drawings, specs, work packages, and requirements to ensure scope and installation details are understood.
Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules; confirm labor, materials, equipment, and resources are available.
