Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 in Atlanta, GA. The role involves planning, managing and executing on projects with some complexity, including material/equipment control, people management, and ensuring documentation aligns with project goals.

The role requires leadership in safety, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing budgeting and scheduling efforts to achieve timely and profitable completion of projects, in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to maintain an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Manages project schedules with the Project Manager.
