Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on all aspects of assigned projects with some complexity. This role focuses on managing materials, equipment, and personnel while ensuring documentation is complete to meet goals for timely and profitable completion, aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, coordination with owners, design teams, and authorities; budgeting and scheduling oversight; and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Broad construction knowledge and field supervision experience.
• Ability to manage safety culture and quality.
• Experience with Lean principles and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and incident investigations.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, custody and control.
• Lead project meetings and manage project schedule.
