Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent to plan, manage and execute highly complex construction projects in the Atlanta area. You will lead the field team, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule alignment with company goals.

The role demands 10+ years in construction with strong supervision experience; lean practices and responsive stakeholder communication are essential. Expect extensive fieldwork and collaboration with owners and architects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years construction experience.
• 8+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings; participates in progress and OAC meetings.
• Prepares and updates project schedules with the Project Manager.
• Monitors project budget using cost reports and PM data.
• Communicates key updates to owners, design team, authorities, subs, and departments.
• Supports project closeouts with pre-punch activities.
