Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Stress & Structural Analyst 3 in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include preparing design calculations, reports, and supporting design verification to ASME NQA-1. Proficiency in ANSYS/SolidWorks is required; CREO and CFD knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry is a plus.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical stress, structural and CFD analyses using ANSYS and other FEA tools.
• Prepare design and analysis reports per ASME NQA-1 requirements.
• Design pressure vessels, piping systems and heat exchangers per ASME codes.
• Develop and review Basis of Estimates and technical documentation.
