Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in stress and structural analysis for DOE and commercial nuclear power applications. The role involves creating CAE models using ANSYS and performing fatigue, static, dynamic, and thermal analyses; preparing design reports and calculations in accordance with ASME NQA-1 quality program.

The engineer will lead technical analyses, coordinate with support personnel, and contribute to design basis documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
• Experience in nuclear industry is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience with ASME NQA-1 is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging.
• Perform CAE analyses for fatigue, static and dynamic/nonlinear structures.
• Prepare design calculations and reports per ASME and NQA-1 standards.
• Lead or coordinate analysis work and review detailed reports.
• Support multi-disciplinary engineering teams across projects.
