Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university.
• 8–12 years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6–10 years with a master’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience with commercial finite element analysis tools (FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models, perform structural and dynamic analyses, conduct calculations, reduce test data, and correlate results.
• Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance, manufacturability, and schedule.
