Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Project Manager to lead the full life cycle of energy infrastructure projects from inception to close. You will ensure safety, budget, schedule, and quality while exceeding customer expectations.

Travel up to 80% to job sites and offices is required. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical engineering design or project management, strong planning and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and/or project management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of construction technologies, scheduling, equipment, materials and methods, and financial management.
• Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership and problem-solving in safety, field and financial performance.
• Influences outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, field and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure work environment through active participation in site planning with job hazard analysis reviews and approvals, on-site toolbox talks, and conducting site walks with the project team.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements.
• Conduct and document operational project meetings (Hand-Off Meeting, Kick-Off Meeting, etc.).
• Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor agreements in line with project estimates.
• Evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control with appropriate personnel to meet project requirements.
• Manage the project's scope coordination with the Building Information Management Department and quality control personnel.
• Perform the financial setup of the project including equipment, labor, materials, and subcontracts.
• Conduct monthly project cost reviews and communicate deviations to beat schedule and budget goals.
• Manage accounts receivables and payables to ensure timely billings and payments.
• Obtain lien waivers, state notices, tax docs, and permits for the project.
• Ensure budget and scope alignment through change management.
• Attend jobsites meetings, schedule deliveries, document site activity, review labor reports, and manage progress and invoicing.
• Build relations with internal team, customer, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor risk management items (Notices to Proceed, contracts, insurance, bonds).
• Close-out documents: manuals, start-up documents, as-builts, warranties, and training items.
• Coordinate start-up and commissioning with all parties to ensure timely compliance.
