Job summary

Upgrade Resources, a leading mechanical and electrical contracting firm, seeks a Project Executive - Mechanical in Waco, TX. You will oversee on-site direction for multi-project mechanical work, managing profitability, schedules, and client relations to ensure successful outcomes.

We value extensive construction leadership experience, a track record in hyperscale or hospital projects, and US work authorization. The role offers a path to senior leadership and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in engineering, business, or construction management or equivalent.
• 15+ years of mechanical construction operations experience.
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong organizational, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Waco, Texas location; US work authorization; no sponsorship.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading hyperscale data center, hospital, or life sciences projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large mechanical projects from pursuit through closeout with full financial accountability.
• Contribute to pre-construction efforts and help close new work.
• Lead turnover between pre-construction and operations teams.
• Set milestones and assign qualified staff.
• Monitor performance of project staff.
• Build relationships with clients, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure current financial and project reports are maintained.
• Visit project sites to review performance and expenditures.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Attend owner and project meetings; maintain client contact.
• Mentor staff and build a cohesive project team.
