Gryphon Oakwood is seeking a Project Executive to lead mission-critical mechanical construction for hyperscale data centers in Austin and Dallas. You will drive delivery across multiple sites, partnering with clients, project teams, and field operations throughout the lifecycle.

This senior role oversees scheduling, budgets, safety and quality, develops site teams, and serves as primary client and subcontractor liaison.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading $50M+ data center and/or large-scale mechanical/HVAC projects.
• Strong construction project management background from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Demonstrated client-facing communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between project sites.

Project Executive - Mechanical Construction (Mission Critical) - Austin & Dallas

Gryphon Oakwood are retained with an $800M+ mechanical contractor that are seeking a Project Executive to lead a hyperscale data centers in Austin & Dallas . The role will oversee the successful delivery of large-scale data center projects across multiple sites, working closely with clients, project teams, and field operations throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project Executive will have overall responsibility for the delivery of several major data center projects, working across the full project lifecycle from initial planning and pre-construction through to completion. This person will act as a senior point of leadership for both the client and internal teams, driving project performance while overseeing multiple teams and sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple mission critical projects, ensuring successful delivery from pre-construction through completion.
• Direct project strategy, scheduling, coordination, and field execution across multiple sites.
• Oversee and develop project management and field teams, maintaining accountability for schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects, teams, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly between project sites.

Compensation

• $200K–$250K base DOE + bonus, healthcare, 401(k) match, per diem, and vehicle allowance.
