Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven history of Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
• 7+ years of experience designing mechanical systems for high performing, commercial, industrial or mission critical/data center buildings.
• Experience mentoring and training others in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact well with others and contribute to high quality deliverables on projects and proposals.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and codes.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality technical and professional deliverables for projects and proposals.
• Design complex air distribution and hydronic systems for large facilities.
• Design building automation controls systems and specifications for large systems.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings and direct discussions.
• Manage project scope, budgets, and client interactions.
• Perform construction administration and survey existing conditions.
