Job summary

Amcor is seeking a senior engineer to lead complex engineering projects within our packaging division. The role involves coordinating with multiple teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and conformance to specifications. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and extensive project experience are required.

The incumbent will manage project scopes, budgets, and vendor relationships, and contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement efforts across the unit. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 6+ years’ experience in engineering projects or similar roles.
• 30% travel requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects end-to-end with minimal direct supervision.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, schedule, and specifications.
• Develop and review engineering packages, designs, calculations, layouts, and schematics.
• Manage project costs, timelines, and vendor interactions to meet objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the department.
