Job summary

Amcor seeks a Project Manager, Corporate Engineering to lead capital equipment projects across manufacturing operations. You will manage full project lifecycles from approval through installation, commissioning and ramp-up, coordinating with Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of flexible packaging processes, plus the ability to shepherd teams across functions and vendors to deliver safety, quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with equipment installation and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of capital project management, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital equipment projects from scope to ramp-up.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery achieving business objectives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across engineering, asset management, operations, maintenance, quality, supply chain and EHS.
• Provide regular updates to engineering and plant leadership and executive stakeholders.
