Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, Mechanical to guide the design of data center projects, acting as a subject matter expert and mentor for a technical team. This role leads and delegates work, ensures quality through the design process, and partners with clients to meet project objectives.

The position supports staff development and maintains strong client relations across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10+ years related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide the technical design of data center projects within own discipline.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate project engineers and designers.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget within projects.
• Ensure QA/QC reviews and design authority approvals are met.
• Build and maintain client relations and communicate design progress.
• Lead technical discussions and coordinate with multiple disciplines.
• Support staff education and development.
