Amentum is seeking a Senior Mechanical Process Engineer to join our Advanced Solutions Group. Based in the United States with options for Tullahoma, TN; Farmington Hills, MI; or Greenville, SC, you will lead process systems design for critical facilities and collaborate across engineering disciplines.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive piping/thermally conditioned systems experience, and familiarity with ASME codes.

Formación

• ABET-accredited BS in mechanical/aerospace engineering is required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience or 12+ years with MS degree.
• Experience designing process systems including piping and thermal conditioning.
• Ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and B&PV codes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project teams to develop new process designs for research facilities.
• Own technical schedule and budget for assigned work.
• Plan and coordinate engineering activities with appropriate techniques and criteria.
• Review results for accuracy and documentation; prepare technical reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with structural, machine design, controls, and aerodynamics teams.
