Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems projects from conception through completion. You will coordinate with Site/Civil, Electrical, Structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to produce mechanical construction documents that meet client, code, and site requirements.

This hybrid role focuses on managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships while mentoring staff and supporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (required).
8+ years of experience in general building mechanical design production.
PE license required.
Revit and MS Office required; AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality are met.
Serve as lead point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
Manage project plans, staffing, resources, budgets, and schedules.
Provide guidance on constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
Oversee financial performance of projects including profitability and forecasting.
Lead and coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout all phases.
Review project documents for QA/QC.
