Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to design and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will apply expertise in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with site, electrical, structural engineers and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• PE License is required for this role.
• Experience in general building mechanical design production is expected for commercial projects.
• Revit and MS Office are required; AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
• Lead as the primary point of contact with clients and maintain strong relationships throughout the project.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Manage project plans, including staffing, resources, budgets, schedules, and execution.
• Provide guidance on constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
• Oversee financial performance, profitability, and project metrics.
• Lead internal teams, external consultants and stakeholders through all phases.
• Review project documents for quality assurance and control.
• Identify risks and opportunities for proactive resolution.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Engineering Designers.
• Support business development and growth opportunities.
