Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to design and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion within our Architecture and Engineering unit. You will coordinate HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems with site, electrical, structural engineers, architects, and project managers.

You will produce mechanical construction documents in line with client requirements, codes, and site adjustments while leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production, preferably with commercial projects.
• PE License required.
• Revit and MS Office required, AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and clients, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
• Serve as lead point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Manage project plans, staffing, resources, budgets, schedules, and execution.
• Provide technical guidance related to constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
• Oversee project profitability, efficiency, and related metrics.
• Lead and coordinate internal teams and external consultants through all phases.
• Review project documents for quality assurance and control.
• Identify risks and develop proactive resolutions.
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Engineering Designers.
• Support business development and client growth opportunities.
