Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead engineering projects from conception to completion. You will oversee HVAC, plumbing/piping, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems design while coordinating with civil, electrical, structural engineers, architects, and construction PMs.

You will produce mechanical construction documents, ensure adherence to client requirements, codes, and site adjustments, while mentoring engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• PE license required or actively pursuing licensure.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects for building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams including site, electrical, structural engineers and architects.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Manage project plans, staffing, budgets, schedules, and execution.
• Provide guidance on constructability, code compliance, and system coordination.
• Oversee project profitability, forecasting, and accounts receivable.
