Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead design and management of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and fuel systems, coordinating with site, civil, electrical, structural engineers, architects and PMs.

Responsibilities include producing construction documents, ensuring code compliance and client requirements, and managing budgets and schedules within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production.
• PE License required.
• Revit and MS Office required, AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visit investigations and generate reports/recommendations.
• Produce design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, provide client interaction support and budgets/schedules.
• Schedule production staff and lead them through tasks, coordinate addendums and change orders.
• Assist in coordinating multi-disciplined work across design development and contract documents.
