Qualifications

• Experience in Pre-Con managing construction projects, thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, cash flow procedures.
• Four year construction related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Champions orderly transition of projects from estimating to field, including contract reviews and schedule alignment.
• Completes close-out requirements and punch lists; handles warranty callbacks to maintain relationships.
• Coordinates with Project Superintendent on means/methods for profitable execution; monitors resources.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Owns project success in safety, schedule, profitability, quality and client satisfaction.
• Manages billings to ensure timely payment applications and collections.
• Develops CPM schedule with Project Superintendent; coordinates procurement with Project Engineer; uses Last Planner System.
• Participates in estimates with focus on cost control, equipment, constructability, formwork, and schedules.
• Participates in business development: client contact, proposals, presentations, negotiations.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Report with Superintendents; uses reports to manage costs and projections.
• Reviews purchase orders and subcontracts from estimating; ensures timely processing.
• Understands and administers prime contracts; documents impacts via written notices.
• Reviews and executes change orders, supplements, and budget adjustments.
• Verifies insurance in place before subcontractors start onsite.
