Vantage Data Centers seeks a Mechanical Engineering Lead to guide a team of SMEs across North America, setting direction for MEP and related disciplines. The role emphasizes strategic influence, technical excellence, and collaboration with cross-functional groups to deliver hyperscale data centers.

The position supports remote work from anywhere in the US, with a focus on mentoring, standards, and ongoing innovation to meet corporate goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; US-based PE preferred.
• 10+ years of mechanical design and construction experience; data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Strong leadership for cross-discipline teams and ability to influence decisions at department level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic direction for mechanical engineering across NA projects.
• Mentor SMEs and align team on engineering standards and best practices.
• Support customer-facing discussions and presentations for mechanical disciplines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align vision, priorities and budgets.
• Make pivotal technical decisions and drive continuous improvement in standards.
