Vantage Data Centers seeks a Mechanical Engineering Lead to guide the NA design engineering team across hyperscale data center projects. You will set standards, mentor SMEs, and drive innovation in mechanical disciplines while aligning with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes strategic influence, project oversight, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure high reliability, safety and efficiency in advanced facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• US-based Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Experience with data center design, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, architectural systems and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Ability to mentor SMEs and influence without direct people management.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for mechanical engineering across NA data center projects.
• Set engineering standards, processes and best practices; align with CoE and executives.
• Mentor SMEs, guide performance, and drive professional growth.
• Support customer-facing discussions and technical presentations; manage budgets and schedules.
