Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lead in the Design Engineering department to guide SMEs across North America. You will set technical direction, drive innovative design standards, and mentor engineers while aligning with project budgets and schedules.

This remote role can be based anywhere in the United States and requires a strong background in mechanical design, multi-discipline coordination, and data center experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
• 10–15+ years of mechanical design and construction experience.
• Data Center and/or mission critical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for mechanical engineering initiatives and drive best practices.
• Lead discipline teams and mentor SMEs for growth and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align standards, schedules and budgets.
• Represent mechanical engineering in CoE and escalation discussions.
