Henderson Engineers is seeking Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineers specializing in HVAC design to contribute across six market sectors. You will integrate engineering knowledge with field experience from Henderson Building Solutions and support client projects with expert design and collaboration.

Opportunities exist in a role that combines technical leadership, business development input, and risk management, with a path toward senior responsibilities within a dynamic ESOP culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 11+ years of experience or 13+ years without a degree.
• PE license may count toward 1 year of direct experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and industry standards.
• Knowledge of earned value, contracts and construction processes.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design tools.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less experienced designers and engineers across teams with oversight.
• Lead project design efforts from concept through completion.
• Produce solutions to complex engineering problems and design challenges.
• Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, and cost.
• Develop tools, resources, and company practices; reinforce standards.
• Oversee quality through reviews and regular check-ins.
