Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a mid- to senior-level Mechanical Designer with HVAC specialization to contribute across multiple sectors, including Business, Community, and Health. You will support refrigeration design needs and collaborate with Henderson Building Solutions, leveraging your CAD skills and design software experience to deliver client-focused engineering solutions.

Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and several years of experience, with PE license a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 3 years of experience, or 6 years without degree.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design software (IESVE, Trane Trace).
• Experience with or willingness to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and designs for mechanical systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepare mechanical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Research and evaluate feasibility of systems or equipment.
