Job summary

E2 Federal Services, LLC, an affiliate of E2 Consulting Engineers, LP, seeks an experienced engineer to define scope of technical programs and deliver high-quality HVAC design for complex nuclear/process chemical facilities in support of SRNS.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and adherence to safety standards, with field walk-downs and coordination with project teams. Requires heavy technical expertise and DOE-related experience.

Qualifications

• 10 years HVAC design experience in nuclear or process chemical industries.
• Knowledge of NFPA 90A, 90B, 91, and 801; ASHRAE Fundamentals; ASME AG-1, 509/510; SMACNA; ARI 410/430/450.
• Ability to perform field walk-downs of systems in the job site.

Responsibilities

• HVAC design development and output documents: equipment sizing, duct sizing, pressure drops, loads, and air balancing.
• Create/modify P&IDs and system descriptions; review vendor documents.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex problems; align with SRNS processes.
