Job summary

E2 Federal Services, LLC, in support of SRNS in South Carolina, seeks an experienced HVAC design engineer to define the scope of technical programs and deliver high-quality solutions for complex challenges. Responsibilities include HVAC design development, equipment sizing, ducting, and integration with fire protection, plus leading field walkdowns and documenting results for customers and management.

Candidates must be a US citizen with relevant degrees and experience; a DOE clearance is

Qualifications

• HVAC design experience in nuclear or process chemical industries.
• Knowledge of NFPA 90A/90B/91/801; ASHRAE Fundamentals; ASME AG-1/509/510.
• Ability to perform field walkdowns and inspect systems on site.

Responsibilities

• HVAC design development and output documents: sizing calculations, duct sizing, pressures and loads.
• Create/modify piping and instrumentation diagrams and system descriptions.
• Provide program guidance, manage schedules and budgets for tasks.
