Job summary

E2 Federal Services, LLC in the US-SC area seeks a Mechanical HVAC Design Principal Engineer to lead complex HVAC design for nuclear/process chemical facilities, including equipment sizing, ducting, and systems integration.

The role requires deep knowledge of NFPA, ASME, SMACNA, and ARI standards, plus field walkdowns and leadership to guide junior engineers, with SRNS program involvement.

Qualifications

• HVAC design experience in nuclear or process chemical settings.
• Knowledge of NFPA/ASHRAE/SMACNA standards is required.
• Ability to lead complex engineering problems and programs.

Responsibilities

• HVAC design development with output documents and calculations.
• Create/modify P&IDs, system descriptions, and equipment lists.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff and SRNS-related tasks.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and quality of work performed.
