Job summary

SRNS seeks an experienced engineer to define technical program scopes, develop quality engineering solutions, and lead complex HVAC design efforts in the nuclear/chemical industry. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and coordinating with management and customers for timely delivery.

Candidates should have Ph.D. in a relevant field or MS/BS with extensive experience and knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, ASME standards.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in applicable science or engineering with 5+ years’ experience, or an MS with 8+ years, or a BS with 10+ years.
• HVAC design experience in nuclear or process chemical industries, with knowledge of relevant codes.
• Experience performing design work, calculations, and documentation for complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of technical programs and develop effective, quality solutions.
• Develop schedules, budgets and personnel requirements for solving technical tasks.
• Create/modify engineering drawings and system descriptions; review with management and customers.
