Job summary
Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mechanical/Fluids Engineer (Mid–Senior) to lead the design of high‑pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems for test facilities. You will develop process architecture, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee fabrication, installation, and startup of new facilities.
Remote/onsite support and travel up to 25% are required. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace engineering with 5+ years (Level III) or 3+ years (Level II) of
Qualifications
- Experience with high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and BPVC codes.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems.
- Design test fixtures and structural supports for facilities.
- Conduct hazop analyses for fluid systems (HAZOP).
- Coordinate cost, schedule, and technical design with suppliers.
- Provide remote and on-site support for facility upgrades.
- Mentor engineers and perform peer reviews.
