Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Space Coast, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and develop fluid and mechanical systems for ground test facilities across the full lifecycle. You will produce P&IDs, models, drawings, eBOMs, and analyses under senior guidance.

You will apply fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and system integration to high‑pressure gas, cryogenic, and propellant systems, and design test fixtures and supports. Relocation is available.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.
• Foundational knowledge of fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and system integration.
• Knowledge of fluid system components for cryogenic, propellant, and high‑pressure gas applications.
• Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of fluid and mechanical systems for ground test facilities across the system lifecycle.
• Develop and release engineering deliverables including P&IDs, models, drawings, eBOMs, and analyses.
• Apply fluid mechanics, structural analysis, and system integration to cryogenic and high‑pressure systems.
• Design and develop mechanical test fixtures and structural supports.
• Support hazard assessments including PHA and HAZOPs.
• Participate in design reviews and build reviews; assist PAR readiness activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers on technical requirements and track costs/schedule.
• Support testing, passivation, and cleaning to industry cleanliness standards.
