Job summary

Loenbro in Westminster, CO seeks a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead detailed mechanical estimates for complex industrial projects up to $25M+; role covers quantity takeoffs, labor and equipment analysis, and risk assessment.

You will interpret P&ID drawings, use HCSS/Accubid tools, and collaborate with operations and procurement to ensure accurate, timely bids and compliant estimates.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in industrial construction estimating with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Estimating experience with Accubid, HCSS, HeavyBid and/or HeavyJob
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and other technical schematics
• MSP or P6 scheduling experience
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
• Strong computer skills with MS Office, Excel tracking, and project scheduling

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed estimates for complex projects up to $50MM and beyond
• Validate quantity take-offs and input into estimating software
• Apply cost analysis and contingency planning for risk mitigation
• Interpret P&ID drawings and technical documents
• Represent the estimating team in client meetings and pre-bid conferences
• Develop and enforce estimating procedures and bid review processes
• Produce cash flow projections, risk analyses, and ROM pricing
