Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Chief Estimator - Mechanical/Structural to lead a high-performing estimating team for industrial facilities, spanning civil, structural, and mechanical work. Responsibilities include developing competitive, timely proposals up to $100M and driving best-practice estimating across disciplines.

The role requires 5+ years of heavy industrial estimating, strong leadership, and proficiency with HeavyBid, Primavera P6, and Viewpoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial/process facility estimating and cost control.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control practices.
• Proven ability to prepare comprehensive proposals with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with HeavyBid, Primavera P6, and Viewpoint.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to estimators for accurate, competitive proposals.
• Direct interpretation of bid documents to ensure compliant proposals.
• Oversee development of high-quality, full-scope estimates across disciplines.
• Liaise with Operations and Business Development to align estimating with market conditions.
• Lead estimate reviews and governance processes to ensure defensible pricing.
