Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Estimator for permanent, on-site work in the Denver Metro Area (Thornton, CO). You will solicit, evaluate, and prepare bid proposals while reading drawings and bid documents to accurately compile costs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience, strong cost-estimation skills, and proficiency with Quickpen/Autobid, Bluebeam, and MS Office to coordinate with teams and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical estimating or similar.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Experience with Quickpen/Autobid is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, evaluate, and prepare bid proposals for general contractors/owners.
• Read drawings, specs and bid documents to summarize costs.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team to meet project requirements.
• Use Quickpen/Autobid to create detailed estimates.
• Communicate progress and reports using MS Office and Bluebeam.
