Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Water Products to support the commercial water heating product line in the United States.

You will serve as the subject matter expert, providing engineering and design support to the sales team and customers. You will collaborate with sales, service, and product development, manage project activities, develop technical materials, and train teams while travelling up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in mechanical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years HVAC/plumbing mechanical or application engineering experience.
• Self-motivated with desire to start on the ground floor with a growing product.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace 3D Plus preferred.
• HVACR/psychrometrics knowledge with plumbing understanding ideal.
• PE license and/or LEED AP preferred.
• Proven track record in managing technical products and applications.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; energy modeling software and Revit experience preferred.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Act as SME and lead project management on commercial domestic water heating products.
• Provide technical and application support through training, materials, and analysis.
• Provide Tier 2 support for BU sales, distributors, and HVAC community.
• Develop engineering white papers addressing domestic hot water issues regionally.
• Collaborate with BU engineers and Applications Team on technical materials.
• Liaise between Sales and Product Development to propose ideas and evaluate docs.
• Assist BU management in defining annual requirements and investments.
• Willing to travel up to 30% domestically and possibly internationally.
• Other duties as assigned.
