Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC seeks a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to support the commercial water heating product line. You will act as the subject matter expert, manage projects, and provide design and technical support to BU sales and external customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, service, and product development, with a focus on domestic hot water products and related training materials for the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in mechanical engineering.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in HVAC/plumbing mechanical or application engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert and lead project management for commercial domestic water heating products.
• Provide technical and application support through training materials and competitive analysis.
• Deliver Tier 2 support to BU sales and distribution networks on complex designs.
• Develop engineering papers addressing domestic hot water issues regionally.
• Collaborate with BU engineers and applications to prepare technical materials.
• Escalate product ideas and evaluate documentation with Sales and Product Development.
