Vertiv Corporation in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead development of advanced cooling solutions for data centers. You will work with mechanical, electrical, and process teams, drive design reviews, prototype testing, and validation to meet performance and cost targets.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong CREO CAD skills, and proficiency in CFD/FEA and thermodynamics.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

Responsabilités

• Conduct advanced development tasks to inform NPDI teams designing new cooling systems for high-density data centers.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process engineering and production teams.
• Perform design reviews, meet cost metrics, and brainstorm around customer pain points.
• Conduct CFD/1D modeling to evaluate cooling system architectures and balance performance with cost.
