Job summary

Extreme Engineering Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help design rugged single board computers and systems. You will develop 3D models, drawings, and analyses, and ensure manufacturability across cross-functional teams in Verona, WI.

You will mentor engineers, perform FEA, review PCB mechanical fit, and verify DFx while collaborating with PCB, manufacturing, and test teams to deliver reliable, rugged products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related engineering experience.
• Proficient in solid modeling and drawings (Creo preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Verona, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering work to ensure products meet specifications.
• Support development of new products through analysis-driven decisions.
• Create and review 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Creo.
• Review PCB layouts for mechanical fit and integration.
• Evaluate FEA results (modal, shock, vibration, fatigue) and recommend designs.
• Analyze test data to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Document analyses, test results, and recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and review work for quality.
