Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of rugged single board computers and systems. This role focuses on mechanical design and verification, including 3D modeling, drawing creation, analysis, and electromechanical integration. The engineer will collaborate with PCB design, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to develop robust, manufacturable designs.

REQUIRED: Strong proficiency in solid modeling and mechanical drawing creation (Creo preferred). Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Working knowledge of GD&T and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI. DESIRED: Proficient in GD&T and tolerance analysis. Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Creo Simulate, etc.). Experience with PCB-mechanical integration. Experience with vibration/shock testing, solder joint durability, or rugged electronics packaging. Experience with programming or scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.).
