Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and design tools.
• Experience with machining, sheet metal, and assemblies.
• Understanding of imaging and packaging for harsh environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify mechanical components including sheet-metal and machined parts.
• Review drawings to ensure producibility and conformity to specifications.
• Use CAD tools to create assembly drawings and schematics.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing and testing.
• Assist systems team in researching and evaluating designs to meet customer requirements.
• Write mechanical performance requirements for product development.
