Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager to lead design and delivery for mission-critical projects. Based in California, the role offers flexible remote work with in-person site visits and a chance to work with a Fortune 500 client.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project management or mechanical design, a PE license, and a degreed engineering background. Building design experience in data centers or telecom is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management or mechanical design experience.
• PE license and engineering degree required.
• Building design experience (data center/mission critical/telecom) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP/Arch/Struct) to meet project goals.
• Review RFIs and submittals and provide guidance.
• Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD phases and select equipment.
