EXP is a leading international engineering firm with a rich heritage and global reach. This role is for a Mechanical Designer/Engineer focused on Mission Critical and Commercial building projects, based in either Columbus, OH or Richmond, VA.

You will work with a talented team to develop designs, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure adherence to codes and project milestones while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• EIT is required, PE preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience with building design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/review calculations for loads.
• Coordinate with MEFP, Arch, Struct and others.
• Manage design process to fit project hours and milestones.
