Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical seeks aMid-Level Mechanical Engineer/Designer to execute mechanical design for mission critical data center projects. The role involves coordinating with design leads across disciplines and interfacing with clients to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in mechanical engineering, 4+ years in HVAC design (Revit), and experience guiding junior staff. Hybrid work with future offices planned and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in mechanical/architectural engineering (mechanical focus).
• 4+ years of facility HVAC design experience, with Revit drawing development.
• Experience leading small mechanical design teams and interfacing with clients is preferred.
• Experience across the construction process from schematic design through construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design tasks for diverse project types.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Produce design documents in Revit and perform calculations.
• Review submittals and shop drawings to ensure quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers on project goals.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.
• Manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
